NBTC is destination management organisation of the Netherlands. We work for and with parties from various sectors on the positioning, development and marketing of our country. We do this to make the Netherlands a liveable, popular and valuable destination for visitors, companies and residents.
Connecting and collaborating
We provide a national vision on tourism and translate it into practice. We connect and facilitate cities, regions and other parties with knowledge and data and also offer support for issues regarding positioning, destination management and marketing activities. We work closely with the tourism industry, regional and local destination management organisations, provinces and ministries. This allows us to jointly develop initiatives that attract visitors for holidays or business meetings in the Netherlands.
Foundation with Supervisory Board
NBTC is an independent foundation that works with a Supervisory Board. It consists of at least five members, including the chairperson, and its main task is to carry out the legal oversight of the organisation. The Board consists of the following members: Hans Bakker (chairman), Han Polman (vice-chairman), Walter Drenth, Rob van Gijzel, Annelies Jansen, Harm Kreulen and Paul Geraeds.
