Who we are

The leading Holland marketing organisation

The Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) is the organisation responsible for promoting the Netherlands as an attractive destination for holiday, business meetings and conventions. For promotion abroad, we use the brand ‘Holland’. For the domestic market ‘Lekker weg in eigen land’ is used. Both are registered brands.
NBTC receives central government funding from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. Also, we cooperate closely with private and public parties within and outside the tourism industry.

Expertise

As the leading organisation for marketing the Netherlands, we use our expertise in the fields of marketing, communication and research. The result is: effective campaigns and publicity that attract more visitors to the Netherlands, and consequently more expenditures.

NBTC offices

NBTC concentrates on those countries and regions that provide the largest numbers of visitors to the Netherlands. We also zoom in on customer groups that have an added value for the Netherlands and its tourism industry sector. Based on this approach we have offices in Europe, North America and Asia.

More than tourism

Our field of work stretches beyond tourism, since this industry is closely related to other fields; for instance festivals, museums, sports events, water, nature/landscape, accessibility and mobility. That is why we increasingly join forces with parties from industries that interface with tourism.
